A presentation on the vision and scope of IICTG was made by Dr. George K. Chang (President of IICTG), Prof. Antonio Gomez Correia (Vice-President of IICTG), and Prof. Soheil Nazarian (Technical Affair of IICTG).

Prof. Cesare Sangiorgi, Prof. Soheil Nazarian, and Dr. George K. Chang presented on intelligent compaction during the NDT workshop. Prof. Cesare Sangiorgi co-authored the EU’s intelligent compaction specification for foundation layers “CEN/TC 396 Technical Standard on Continuous Compaction Control”.
