The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) has released a report that summarizes the results of two combined Intelligent Compaction-Infrared Scanning (IC-IR) (also known as Paver-Mounted Thermal Profiling PMTP) projects. This report includes field test results, lessons learned, and recommendations for future IC-IR projects in Missouri. The Transtec Group team, led by Dr. George K. Chang (President of IICTG), has provided consultant support for this FHWA AID/MODOT funded projects – including IC-IR project management protocol, training workshops, onsite field support, data analysis and reports.
